Garage Door Remote Not Opening

They worked this morning to close the door but would not open for me this afternoon sound familiar.

My garage door will not open even when i use the remote i have no way to enter. When i returned from work today i pushed the button on my remote garage door opener but the door didn t budge. Ensure the door isn t in vacation or lock mode when it won t respond to the remote from the outside. Geneva harris on january 21 2019.

When in one of these modes it may open once using the remote then must be unlocked from. It will open from the wired button but no remotes. If the remote works from inside the garage but not from the outside then most likely the antenna wire on the garage door opener itself may be damaged broken or not in visible range. Then within 30 seconds hold the button on your remote for three seconds or until garage door opener s lights flash or the led light on your opener blinks.

My garage door won t open with remotes or even with the remote programmed in my truck. Tried to reset remotes and get nothing. Try using your remote to open or close your door to determine if the reprogramming was successful. To reprogram your garage door remote locate then press your opener s learn button.

Check to be sure the antenna is attached and if it is not hanging down from the unit move the antenna so it can catch the beam being sent by the remote please note that the antenna on some garage door openers. Even after putting new batteries in the remote the garage door still is not.
